The Allegheny Valley Trails Association

The Allegheny Valley Trails Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that was founded in 1990, with a mission of acquiring abandoned railways in the Allegheny River watershed and to rehabilitate them into a non-motorized recreational trails.

The association is guided by its board consisting of 12 to 21 volunteers.
